Lee Kong Hean
At Cecil Street Capital Management, Kong Hean is responsible for all investment decisions. Kong Hean started his investment career with GIC in 2001. He last served as Deputy Head of both Total Return Global and Asia Total Return funds at GIC, and was instrumental in building a global top-quintile performance absolute return, multi-location team (2009-2016) at the former.
His other experiences include managing a Japan country portfolio and helping to manage a global technology fund for GIC (2001-2007), being a part of Henderson Global Investors’ Asia and Japan teams (2007-2008), and managing an Asia-Pacific market neutral fund at UBS O’Connor in Hong Kong (2008-2009).
Before his investment career, Kong Hean worked as a senior principal engineer at Chartered semiconductor (now part of Global foundries). He obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Michigan Technological University, Michigan with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
Lim Chiew Yang
Chiew Yang is responsible for business operations and compliance at Cecil Street Capital Management.
Prior to Cecil Street Capital Management, Chiew Yang was a business manager in the External Managers Department at GIC, supporting the business operations of the department in budgeting, risk management, compliance, and liaison with auditors. In addition, she was also responsible for conducting operational due diligence on external fund managers.
Her other experiences include being a business manager at GIC‘s Fixed Income Department, and Fixed Income Sales at Lehman Brothers.
Chiew Yang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is also a CAIA Charterholder.
